As we are nearing the end of the year, MiFID II Implementation deadline is approaching fast and with almost no time left until January the 3rd, the majority of the financial organisation in and outside of the City are tackling the MiFID II programs.
With our expertise and great relationships across regulatory professional we were aware that there are particular concerns that need addressing in more informal settings and therefore, we organised another MiFID II Breakfast Briefing.
With our very knowledgeable speakers – Stephen Hanks of FCA and Julian Allen-Ellis of AFME, it was important for the attendees to gain as much insight and get their concerns across.
We focused greatly on Research Unbundling and Inducements aspects, that seems to be one of the most talked about areas of the regulatory implementation currently.
Supervision and main areas of focus from the regulator Post-Implementation were another topics that seemed to get a lot of interest, with attendees showing a strong curiosity in the work the regulator will follow through after the go-live date.
We believe this particular session was very informative to all the attendees and we look forward to organising the next one soon!
