Job Description

My client is looking for a Senior Programme Manager, This role will shape and then deliver a multi-million pound programme to achieve compliance with new regulatory capital calculations which will need to be implemented over the next 2-4 years within Commercial Banking Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take over leadership of an existing project team (put in place within the last six months) combining Business and Group IT colleagues, growing this team where required to progress delivery
  • Develop and deliver a governance structure and reporting plan to ensure that the Accountable Executive, Overarching Programme Manager and senior stakeholders are adequately informed of progress
  • Ensure all IT architectural and infrastructure activities are understood and included in a single overarching plan
  • Implement a robust and sustainable solution to comply with regulations, working closely with the Risk and Finance teams responsible for regulatory reporting
  • Identify and manage dependencies between this and other projects delivering change to the architectural landscape during the same period

Key Requirements:

  • Significant experience of data focused change projects aimed at streamlining data flows and removing manual reconciliations
  • Experience of managing complex dependencies
  • Ability to resolve conflict and deal with difficult and demanding stakeholders
  • Experience of Scrum / Agile delivery, relevant training desirable
  • An understanding of regulatory reporting and associated IT systems and data issues
