Our client, a large financial services firm based in Ireland, relied on an outdated general ledger system to support its accounting team. It wanted to boost the productivity of this function and improve its employee experience, by reducing laborious manual tasks and limiting the time spent investigating and correcting mistakes. Alongside this it also sought to strengthen its company-wide reporting capabilities.
We were brought onboard to build and deploy an accounting system using Oracle’s PeopleSoft GL software, that could meet these objectives while seamlessly integrating accounts payable and asset management processes.
